Sleep well Peter my beautiful friend and great supporter. I will sorely miss our chats and texts and all our laughs. I will make you proud RIP xx ❤
I am so sorry that I could not be here today but my heart and wishes are with the family of Peter.
Although I did not ever physically meet Peter, I knew him through the stories that Conor would tell me about him. The holidays that he would go on with his Dad, the songs and shows his Dad introduced to him growing up (which Conor then introduced to me), the boat adventures they went on, the camping trips, his Dad’s love for filming funny little snippets of the things he enjoyed and was proud of, his Dad coming to visit him at University and making him the spiciest curries to have, or when his Dad would teach him and Declan to cook new recipes together.
Many of the qualities that Conor would describe his Dad to have, I have always seen in Conor. Whether that’s his incredible sense of humour, his ability to fix and build just about everything with his bare hands, his culinary skills, his abundance of intelligence and wisdom in multiple things, or his dashing good looks. I know that Peter will live on through both of his sons and then through his grandchildren in the future, and the many generations to come.
Peter raised his sons really well and I will forever be grateful to him for raising a kind-hearted and caring person that I can call my friend. I know that he was proud of both Declan and Conor.
I extend my deepest condolences to Peter’s loved ones and may you find comfort within one another through this time.
We were fortunate to spend time in Pete’s company, a funny and kind man who will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.
Rest in peace lovely man 🥰❤️
Sleep tight my beautiful friend, I will be forever grateful to have had you in my life if even only for a short time. Your generosity knew no bounds. You have left a big hole in my life, I miss our chats and all the amazing videos of your trips, photos of your hard work on your boat, and all the beautiful words of hope and love you would send. God called you home and now there’s only peace. All my love.
To Conor Declan and family our sincere condolences. Peter was a great friend and an hilarious mate. Will be sorely missed by us all

So very sad to think we’ve lost Peter, a true and loyal friend to me of over a quarter of a century, and now taken too soon.
Heartfelt condolences to Connor and Declan, and all his family in Ireland. He was kind, funny irreverent, but never disrespectful, and would give freely of his time, experience, strength and hope to all who needed help, yet never took himself too seriously. A thoroughly decent chap we shall always miss, and will remember with warmth and a smile🙏
My deepest condolences to Peter’s family. Declan and Conor, your Dad was a wonderful human being.
Peter – May you Rest in Peace and Joy with those, that went before you.
Safe journey, my friend.
My deepest sympathies to Orla and family on the passing of Peter. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.
Although we never met in person, I felt closer to Peter from across the Big Pond than to many others here on Cape Cod. He always brought such joy and wisdom whenever he joined us through Zoom meetings. My oldest daughter just passed and Peter’s emails during that time helped me through the worst part. Thank you, Paddy, for coming into our lives. Who will I flirt with now???!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you & your family & you WILL be greatly missed!
I am so sorry to hear of Peter’s death. May memories of Peter sustain you now & forever. We only met on zoom-such a calm & comforting presence he had!
You left us too young pete, may you rest in peace.

One of the most beautiful people I have had the honour to meet. Haven’t known very long but massive impact on me. You caring words I will never forget. Made me laugh so much and beautiful caring hugs. Every marshmallow will be for you my friend. I’d brought one for our next camp, bless your heart. Love to all who loved Peter. Thinking of you all xxx
Deepest sympathy to you Orla and all the family on the sudden passing of your dear brother. Thinking of you all at this sad and difficult time rip. Clive, Juliana, Yvette and Jarlath Doherty.
I had never actually met Peter but I did do a little “business” with him from across the pond. I purchased an engine from him, and he seemed like the nicest, kindest and most sincere human being I have had the pleasure to associate with. I thought that I should reach out and show respect to his family, may Paddy rest in Peace..
