The death has occurred of Michael Burgess, of Creevesmore, Kincon, Ballina, Co. Mayo who passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in Mayo University Hospital Castlebar on Wednesday 12th August 2026.
Beloved husband of Betty and dear father of Diane, Graham and Caroline.
Predeceased by his Parent’s George & Annie-May and his sister Joyce.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughters, son, his adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Wendy, sons-in-law Stephen (Diane) and Steven (Caroline), relatives, neighbours, friends.
At Rest
Private cremation will take place at McGowan’s Crematorium and Funeral Home, Collooney, Co. Sligo (Eircode F91 AKW5).
The family would like to thank everyone in Ward D in Mayo University Hospital and Beaumont Hospital for their kindness, support, and prayers at this time.
