Margaret (Rita) Jacob (nee Carroll) Quigabar, Kilglass, Enniscrone, Co. Sligo in the presence of her family under the excellent care of the staff at Sonas nursing home Enniscrone.

Pre-deceased by her husband Mixie (Michael), her brothers and sisters.

Loving mother of Michael (Parke), Brendan (Ardagh), Marie (Breslin) Claremorris, Noel (Enniscrone), Ann (Culkin) Kilglass, Carol (Tracy) New York, her brother Fonso (Quigabar), 21 adoring grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, daughters in-law Kathleen, Evelyn, Patricia, sons in law Eamon Breslin, Eamon Culkin and Herb Tracy. Nephews and nieces especially Maureen (Carroll) Barrett, sisters in-law Maura Kilcullen and Anna Tolan, neighbours and friends

Reposing at the home of her son Michael and daughter in law Kathleen Parke Kilglass Enniscrone Co. Sligo F26 FD66 on Sunday the 29th of January from 2pm to 8pm with removal on Monday 30th January to the Church of our Lady assumed into Heaven Enniscrone for requiem mass at 12 noon followed by burial in St. Patrick’s cemetery Kilglass.

Aged 94 years, Rita was well liked and respected by all those who knew her and came into contact with her, be it through her shop in Quigabar for over 50 years, her walks in Enniscrone or the many social occasions she graced the dancefloor with her late husband Mixie.
