Peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband Billy, son Bryan, parents and siblings.
Josie is deeply regretted and dearly missed by her loving sons Chris & Richard, daughters Katrina & Ally, grandson Nicky, son-in-law Joe, nephews, nieces, in-laws, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s funeral home Ballina on Saturday evening from 6.30 o’c with removal at 8.30 o’c to St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina.
Funeral Mass on Sunday morning at 12.30 pm with burial afterwards to Leigue Cemetery. Funeral mass will be live streamed at www.churchtv.ie/ballina

I’m so sorry to hear about Josie. I have great memories of her on Barrett St where she spent a lot of her life bringing up her family. She was a true lady & a fantastic example because of her community involvement. She will always be remembered, especially for her undying commitment to the Ballina Salmon Anglers where her late husband Billy spent many a happy day. May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.
