Peacefully at Galway University Hospital.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Josephine and his son David.

Johnny will be dearly missed by his loving daughters  Caroline and Margaret (Devaney) (Ballina), sons Bernard (Ardagh) and John (wexford), sisters Margaret (London), Sarah Bushell (Strokestown) and Eileen Cassidy (Portsmouth), brothers Chris (Nottingham) and David (London), grandchildren Shane, Ailson, Thomas, Conor, Tina, David, Jake, David, Grace, Niamh, Seán, Emma and Shauna, son-in-law, Gerry Devaney, daughters-in-law Marcella and Thrish, nieces, nephews, inlaw`s, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McGowans funeral home on Saturday evening from 6.30pm with removal at 8.30pm to St. Muredach`s Cathedral.

Funeral mass on Sunday at 12.30pm with funeral proceeding afterwrds to  Ballinhaglish cemetery, Knockmore.

Family flowers only, donations to the Mayo/Roscommon Hospice.
