John,  peacefully at his residence predeceased by his beloved wife Lolly (nee Finnerty) and deceased members of the Devaney and Finnerty families.

Deeply regretted by his son Michael, daughter Mary Devine (Greystones, Co. Wicklow), brother Michael (U.S.), grandchildren Donal, Emma and Daire, son-in-law Paul, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

John will repose at McGowan`s funeral home, Ballina on Saturday evening from 6.pm with removal at 7.30pm to the Star of the Sea Church, Rathlee arriving at 8.15.pm.

Funeral mass on Sunday morning at 10.am with burial afterwards in Roslea cemetery.
