The death has occurred of James (Damie) Langan of Castletown, Corballa, Co. Sligo.
Peacefully in his 100th year in the wonderful care of the St. Augustine’s Nursing Home Ballina, Co. Mayo.
Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary, his sister Teresa Igoe and his brothers Martin and Paddy and his nephew Noel Igoe.
Damie will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his nephews and niece, his grand nephews and grand nieces, his great grand nephews, and great grand nieces, by his sister-in-law Ann, his cousins, neighbours, wide circle of friends, wonderful carers, and his loyal friend Jon.

Damie will repose in McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Sunday 12th July from 6:30pm with removal at 8pm to St. Joseph’s Church Castleconnor arriving for 8.30pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Monday morning 13th July at 11:00am followed by burial afterwards in Killanley Cemetery.
