Peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family after a short illness. Gertrude (Gertie) predeceased by her beloved husband Frank, sisters and brothers, and loving mother of Geraldine, Una, Veronica, Linda and Tina.  Sadly missed and deeply regretted by her loving daughters, sister Maureen (Leeds), in-laws, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McGowan`s funeral home, Ballina on Sunday evening from 5.30pm with removal at 7.pm to St. Joseph`s Church, Castleconnor  arriving at 7.30pm.

Mass of the Resurrection on Monday morning at 11.am with burial afterwards in Killanley cemetery, Castleconnor.
