It is with great sadness we inform you of the passing of Gerard (Gerry) Barrett, Ballinahaglish, Ballina, Co Mayo F26 D363 on the 6th of September 2023. Gerry died peacefully after a short illness in Mayo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents, Martin and Annie Barrett, his brother Paddy (PJ) and cousin Gerald Coggins
He will be sadly missed by his wife Phyllis (née Berreen), daughter Gail and sons Nigel and Roger, his grandchildren Cian, Conor, Amanda, Ronan, Lori and Niall, his brother Mike and sister Margaret and his children’s partners Declan, Lorraine and Lisa, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
May he rest in Peace.
Reposing at his residence F26 D363 on Friday 8th September from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
Funeral will arrive to the Church of Christ the King, Knockmore for a Requiem Mass on Saturday morning at 11:00am followed by burial in Ballinahaglish Cemetery, Knockmore.
