Peacefully at the Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, Co. Mayo.

Predeceased by her parents Billy & Nollie (Daly), brothers Neil & Jim.

Gemma, much loved wife of Michael and loving mother of Peter, Brendan, Ruairí & Ciara McLaughlin.

Sadly, missed by her husband, sons, daughter, adored granny of Cillian, Enya, Aidan & Eoin, sister of Monica Fahy (Tuam) & Kieran (Castlebar), in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

REST IN PEACE

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (F26 V274) on Tuesday evening from 5:30pm until 7:30pm.

Funeral will arrive to St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina on Wednesday morning for Requiem Mass at 11:30am followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.

Gemma’s funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.ballinaparish.org

Family flowers only please donations if desired to the charity close to her heart St. Vincent De Paul Ballina C/o McGowan’s funeral home, Ballina.

  3. Our sincere condolences to you Michael and to Peter, Brendan, Ruairí, Ciara and your families on the passing of a wonderful, wife, mother and grandmother. Gemma was a wonderful person and she will be missed by many friends.
    Sympathies also to Monica, Kieran and all members of the Mongey and O’Malley families.
    Unfortunately we are away and unable to attend her funeral but you are all in our thoughts and prayers at this trying time for you.
