The death has occurred of Donal McCormick of Carrowmore Lacken, Ballina Co. Mayo.
Peacefully, after a short illness at Mayo University Hospital in his 96th year.
Predeceased by his adored wife Anne, sisters Marie and Alva.
Loving father of Alan, Helen (Galway), Alastair, Stuart (Kildare), and Gary (Cork). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sons, daughter, sister Heather, daughters-in-law Sandra, Raphaelle, Fiona and Melanie, Helen’s partner Brian, grandchildren Craig, Laura, Amy, Sarah, Joshua, Claudia, Jasmine, Harvey, Sam, Ben and Jessie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Monday evening July 22nd from 6pm with removal at 7:30pm to Methodist Church, Hill St, Ballina.
Funeral service will take place at 1:30pm on Tuesday July 23rd with interment afterwards in Rathfran Cemetery.

My sincere condolences to my Auntie Heather for the loss of her brother, and to my cousins Alan, Helen, Alastair, Stuart and Gary for the loss of their father. I will always remember Uncle Donal as a very kind and wonderful man. Someone who always made us welcome, and was always happy to see us. I’m sorry if I can’t be there in person, but I am in spirit. And I share your grief for the loss of a good man. May he rest in peace.
I was very saddened to hear about the passing of Uncle Donal and would like to pass on my condolences to the whole McCormick family. I have many happy memories of him, from my childhood, to a phone call this January. Thinking of you all and glad that Shirley & Dorothy can be with you in my absence.
