The death has occurred of Brian Leonard, of Rathmeel Lawns, Ballina, Co, Mayo who passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar on Wednesday 5th August 2026.
Predeceased by his beloved daughter Rachel, parents Ethel and Anthony, and his sisters Mary, Ann, and Joan.
Dearly missed by his wife Winnifred, son Richard, granddaughter Maya, his sister Helen, brothers Joe and Tony, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Friday 7th August from 5:00 until 6:30pm.
Funeral will arrive for Requiem Mass to St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina on Saturday morning 8th of August at 11:30am, followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery.
Brian’s funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.ballinaparish.org
