The death has occurred of Bernie peacefully at the Moyridge Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family.
Bernie predeceased by her husband John, her parents Mai and Cecily, her brothers Sean, Mikey, Paddy, Seamus and Noelie, her sisters Kathleen, Bridie, Daisy, Nan and Baby Philomena.
Beloved mother of Mary, Patrick, John, Pauline, Charles, Bernadette and Richard.
She will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters, her brothers Kevin, Nicky and Phonsie, her nephew Gerry O’Mahoney, her adored 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Marie, Mary, Assumpta, and Anita, sons-in-law Bernie, Martin and PJ, sisters-in-law Bernie, Ann, Marie, Teenie, Liz, Mary, Jenny, Rosaleen and Helen, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends,

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home Ballina (Eircode F26 V274) on Tuesday evening 30th of June from 5:00 until 7:00pm.
Funeral will arrive for Requiem Mass to St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina on Wednesday morning 1st of July at 11:30am, followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.

Bernie did not have it easy , losing her dear husband in the most tragic of circumstances , leaving her a widow at such a young age with 7 children to raise. And she raised them wonderfully. An incredible woman. May you find comfort in the mother she was .
