Peacefully at the Mater Hospital, Dublin surrounded by her loving family.

Anita, beloved wife of Martin and loving mother of Néamh & Sadhbh. 

Sadly missed by her devoted husband and daughters, parents Cassie & Josie McKenna, brothers Dessie, Brian & Niall, sisters Ann-Marie O’Driscoll & Sinead & her partner Colm, brothers-in-law Sean & Johnny & his wife Mary, sisters-in-law Linda, Teresa, Caroline Maheady, Aileen Rouse & Angela Hannon, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends & her work colleagues at Sligo University Hospital.

Rest In Peace  

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina on Monday evening from 5pm until 7pm

Funeral will arrive to The Church Of the Holy Family, Kilglass on Tuesday for 12noon Requiem Mass followed by burial in St. Patricks Cemetery, Kilglass.

  2. Completely heartbroken for you all and so shocked to hear of Anita’s Illness and passing. Beautiful woman inside and out and will never forget the kindness she showed to me many a time. Beyond devastated for all of Anita’s family. Life can be so so cruel. RIP Anita truly an angel now xx

I have known Anita since our time in London back in the 90s and then in Sligo Dialysis. Such a lady and good friend. May Anita Rest in Peace.
